Early childcare and development impact not only families of small children, but communities, businesses and even the economy as a whole.  According to the US Chamber of Commerce “$3 billion in revenue is lost annually due to employee absenteeism as the result of childcare breakdowns.”  Since the pandemic, new studies and data have emerged highlighting the important role businesses have in supporting the needs of families who care for young children including a focus on early development.  Workforce is big piece of the Early Childhood Coalition, and we would like to hear from you.

In order to understand how to best support workforce development, we would love to hear from business leaders about current employer practices with this quick survey: https://bit.ly/40SM1yC

“Investments in high-quality early childhood education and care support our current workforce (working parents) and strengthen business today while building the workforce we’ll depend on tomorrow and for decades to come.” –  The Business Case | U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation (uschamberfoundation.org)
