Mission Tomorrow presented in partnership with Junior Achievement of Central VA, is the Richmond region’s interactive career exploration event for students.
Through a series of interactive activities and discussions with over 100 area businesses, the region’s eighth graders – about 12,000 of them – can explore a wide variety of potential careers.
This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, October 10 through Thursday, October 12.
The event is also open to parents and high school students on Tuesday, October 10 from 5:15 to 7:00 p.m., to explore potential careers and learn about work-based learning opportunities such as job shadowing and internships.

Meet Tomorrow’s Workforce and Talent
Mission Tomorrow is a forward-thinking career exploration fair that introduces RVA’s next generation of workers to careers in high-demand industries.
Eighth graders from localities within the region (Charles City, Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, Powhatan and Richmond) will be participating. Eighth grade is such a critical year for students as they are deciding on coursework pathways for their high school years and beyond.
