We’ve recently switched databases here at the Chamber, which means that so far 2015 has meant a whole lot of technical back office work and general teeth gnashing. But hey, at least we’re not in Boston, right?

If you’re a Chamber member, this database situation means some important things, things that we’re going to share with you as if they were rejected titles for this post. Because writing (and reading) about databases and passwords is kind of boring, but getting discounted rates to events is not. Here goes:

Possible but Eventually Rejected Titles for This Post

“If you are an employee of a Chamber member company, please set up your new password in our new system so you can attend our awesome events at the member rate, etc.”

“We have switched databases, get into it!”

“The mass email we sent out this morning was legit.”

“Your old password will no longer work, trust us.”

“Snow days are perfect days for setting up your new Chamber log-in credentials.”

“If your company is a Chamber member (look that up here if you’re not sure), every employee is entitled to Chamber benefits.”

“If your company IS a Chamber member but your email is not in our database, then we can remedy that. Contact us, (804) 783-9328.”

“If your company is NOT a Chamber member but is interested in getting in on these benefits, give Stephanie a shout, (804) 783-9350, or sign up for an upcoming Meet the Chamber.”

And finally…

“Once you set up your credentials, download the MembersPlus app, log in using same credentials and now your company profile and event registrations are at your fingertips.”
