Richmond Startup Spotlight email newsletter connects RVA’s entrepreneurs
Richmond, VA – Richmond’s business community has a new email newsletter spotlighting local startups making a name for themselves and our region.
Richmond Startup Spotlight launches on Sunday, Sep. 9, featuring local success stories, new ventures, patent information, advice and articles of interest to entrepreneurs. From working with mentors to securing funding, the weekly email newsletter is the first stop for connecting to the businesses and individuals impacting startups in RVA.
The newsletter will also include a variety of columns that will provide helpful information and tips to the startup community. One new column will be from Jay Markiewicz, an entrepreneur and executive director of entrepreneurship programs at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business. Markiewicz will offer insight on how to initiate the entrepreneurship journey.
“The Times-Dispatch has been writing about startups, small businesses and the entrepreneurial community for years. This new e-newsletter focuses more attention on this growing and vibrant community and it raises our commitment,” said RTD Business Editor Gregory J. Gilligan.
