Public Notice and Invitation to RIC’s Stakeholder Consultation Meeting on the Proposed DBE Participation Goals for Federal Fiscal Years 2021-2023
In accordance with requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation as set forth in 49 CFR Part 26, the Capital Region Airport Commission hereby notifies the public that its proposed goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in federally-assisted contracts at Richmond International Airport (RIC) for federal fiscal years 2021 -2023 is 7.92%. The goal represents the overall percentage of DBE participation anticipated in our FAA-funded contracts during that three-year period. I hope you will join us for a stakeholder consultation meeting to share your views on the proposed DBE goal and to learn about the anticipated federally-assisted contracts at RIC. The video conference meeting will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.

Written comments on the proposed goal will be accepted for 30 days from the date of this notice. If no substantive comments are received during the stakeholder consultation or in writing, then this Notice shall serve as the final overall DBE participation goal for the Federal Fiscal Years cited above.
Please share this information with other individuals, businesses and professional organizations that you believe would want to participate in the stakeholder consultation meeting and/or comment on the Commission’s proposed DBE goal.
