New! One Day Healthcare Leadership Institute
The VHHA Leadership Institute is a fast-paced instructional day that is focused on helping to develop the critical skills and knowledge necessary to be an effective and productive leader within an organization. With the many competing priorities involved with managing people and processes, this one-day workshop will help participants build essential management skills, understand the power of communication, and gain perspective insight into what it takes to run a health-focus organization today. The workshop will feature two modules:
1. Essentials Skills: this module will focus on the soft-skills that are integral to managing people, building relationships and communicating with purpose, as well as assisting participants in identifying and hone their own leadership style
2. Essential Knowledge: this module will highlight the current healthcare trends all managers and leaders must be aware of to ensure the success and sustainability of a multidimensional healthcare organization
