Jeremy R. Moss Named Up & Coming Lawyer for 2017

Vandeventer Black LLP attorney Jeremy R. Moss was recently recognized by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as one of the ‘Up & Coming Lawyers’ of 2017. According to the publication, this award is given to attorneys with less than 10 years in their practice who are establishing “a name for themselves, go above and beyond, and display the ambition, drive, determination and accomplishments that set them apart among their peers,” allowing them to make a mark in their community and profession.
“Jeremy Moss has earned a reputation as an effective corporate advisor, counselor, advocate, problem solver, educator, and at times, peace-maker, providing exemplary service and outstanding results for his clients,” said Michael L. Sterling, Managing Partner.
Moss, an AV® Preeminentᵀᴹ rated lawyer, focuses on advancing policies that foster vibrant community associations, promoting harmony, community, professional and responsible leadership. He’s been an active member of the Community Associations Institute, serving as chair of the CAI Virginia Legislative Action Committee and previously served as a legislative counsel from 2009-2013. In 2014, Moss was named a fellow of the College of Community Association Lawyers, the youngest member ever inducted.
Moss also serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Virginia Bar Association Real Estate Council, Chairs the Virginia State Bar’s Real Property Section Committee on Common Interest Communities, and is a member of the American Institute of Parliamentarians and the Research Committee of the Foundation for Community Association Research. He also volunteers on the Alumni Advisory Board for Student Affairs at Virginia Tech.
