Many thanks to all of the businesses who are planning to have an interactive presence with Mission Tomorrow. Your commitment in helping to shape our future workforce is important to our RVA Region and greatly appreciated. We could not do it without you.
As we plan for October 23 and 24, 2019 we would like to provide some helpful information below:
SET-UP will be Noon – 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 22. Please arrive to the rear of the Exhibition Hall (largest building) at “Exhibitor Check-in” so we can assist you in locating your booth(s).
Event Days: Wednesday, October 23 and Thursday, October 24, 2019
Event Times: 8:30 am – 2:00 pm on both days.
We ask you to report to the front entrance (foyer) area of the Exhibition Hall (largest building) at 8:30 am on Wednesday, October 23 for a welcome and orientation.
Exhibitors will be assigned to a ZONE and each zone will have approximately 15 to 30 exhibitors. There will be a total of 5 zones throughout all of the exhibition halls.
Students will enter beginning at zone 1 and make their way to zone 5. Students will be in groups of approximately 400 (based on school size) and will spend 15 minutes in each zone. They will make their way to the exhibits that interest them so please do not think that you will have 400 students at one time.
Please do not provide students with any literature, food, beverage, candy, etc. Nothing can be provided to the students
We are excited to provide this wonderful career exploration event for the 12,000+ public school 8th grade students throughout our RVA Region and could not do it without your participation.
Together, we are making a difference and for that, we sincerely thank you!
