Volunteers Needed for River City Slam

National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate impact and create it. Our volunteers are the backbone of everything we do, showing up for every program and every event. When you volunteer, you’re more than just your time and expertise. You’re a support system, a cheerleader, a friend. We’re deeply grateful for every moment you spend with us and the way you move our mission relentlessly forward.

But right now, we need your help. River City Slam and several of our weekly programs are facing critical volunteer gaps. Whether you’re new or returning, this is a real opportunity to step in and make an immediate difference for the athletes and community who count on Sportable. We have an urgent need for volunteers at  River City Slam, our upcoming USTA Level 1 / ITF Futures tournament at Collegiate School’s Robins Campus. This tournament will bring top-ranked wheelchair tennis players from across the country, and we need your help to make it happen. Be a part of the River City Slam Volunteer Crew, presented by CarMax!

We Have a Critical Need for Ball Runners
Stationed at the net posts, ball runners collect balls between points and return them to players at the right time. This role involves standing, bending, lunging, and squatting (age 10+). It’s a great opportunity for families, groups, or anyone looking to earn service hours while spending time outdoors.
