Good Foods Grocery Expands to 7-Day Operations to Better Serve the Community

Good Foods Grocery, a local staple known for providing high-quality, organic, and locally-sourced groceries, is excited to announce that it will now be open seven days a week, starting June 22nd. With this expansion, Good Foods Grocery will offer customers even more opportunities to access fresh produce, locally-sourced meat, dairy, and eggs, bulk goods, prepared meals, supplements, and much more.

Starting on July 13th, Good Foods Grocery’s Sunday hours will be 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, complementing the existing Monday through Saturday hours of 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

“We are thrilled to offer greater accessibility for our customers while also creating more employment and training opportunities for members of our community,” said Tyler Hart, CEO of Commonwealth Autism, which owns and operates Good Foods Grocery. “By opening on Sundays, we are not only extending the availability of fresh, local products but also enhancing our mission to support individuals with autism through our Career Readiness and Employment (CR&E) program.”

A Commitment to Community and Inclusion

Good Foods Grocery’s expansion to seven days a week aligns with the store’s mission of being a trusted source for nutritious, locally-sourced foods while also supporting meaningful employment opportunities. Through Commonwealth Autism’s CR&E program, individuals with autism gain hands-on training in a supportive, real-world retail environment, learning essential job skills that build confidence and independence.

“Every shift is an opportunity for our participants to build experience, develop skills, and connect with our community,” added Srah Thompson, Director of Missions at Commonwealth Autism. “This change means more chances for them to grow and for customers to be part of a store that makes a difference.”

More Access to Local, Fresh, and Organic Products

As a seven-day-a-week store, Good Foods Grocery will continue to offer a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, premium meats, dairy, and eggs from local farms, bulk goods, freshly prepared meals, beer and wine, and a wide range of trusted supplements and grocery products from both favorite national brands and local businesses.
