The September edition of LinkedIn to Richmond, Black Iris Social Club’s monthly networking evening, is on Wednesday, September 30 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.

This month’s programming is a panel, “Too Successful to Keep Winging It: Leadership, Process, and Revenue Systems for the Next Stage of Growth.” The argument is that growing companies stall because they have outgrown the informal habits that got them there, not because of effort or ability. Decisions route through the same few people, the process lives in someone’s head instead of in a system, and revenue depends on somebody remembering to follow up. New tools get stacked on top, and the company gets busier without getting easier to run.

Each panelist takes one piece. Michael Buzinski of Buzzworthy Strategies on revenue, Kevin May of Business Actuators on leadership, and Sam Drauschak of Cavi Consulting on the process underneath both.

It is an interactive discussion with time for questions from the room, followed by networking over heavy hors d’oeuvres.
