YWCA Richmond’s Sprout Schools are now enrolling across five locations! The YWCA Richmond operates the Sprout School, a full-day, year-round early childhood education program. We emphasize a child-directed, high-quality curriculum. After graduating 70 students ready for kindergarten, enrollment is growing again. We currently serve 225 children from infancy through age five, and we’re excited to welcome more families.
Our mixed-income model ensures inclusivity in every classroom, and today, 65% of enrolled families receive tuition subsidies or scholarships. This year, YWCA Richmond Sprout Schools partnered with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and YMCA of Greater Richmond to expand learning opportunities for young children.
We’re proud to share that Sprout Schools earned high ratings from Governor Youngkin and the Virginia Department of Education. We also celebrated leadership milestones, including promoting a Center Director with seven years of service and welcoming Lynne Robinson and Andrew Lewis to our leadership team.
Enrollment is still open at all locations, including our newest site in Fulton. For details or to secure your child’s spot, visit us at SproutSchoolRVA.org. Link for enrollment –Enrollment – Sprout School RVA
