The Blacker The Berry Juice Bar Makes Its Debut In Richmond’s Shockoe Bottom Neighborhood With A

Black Ribbon Cutting Celebration Saturday, January 28th at 10am

The JWC Foundation is excited to announce the Grand Opening of The Blacker The Berry Juice Bar located at 10 N.  18th Street, in Richmond’s Shockoe Bottom neighborhood. The Grand Opening and Black Ribbon Cutting Celebration will take place at 10am Saturday, January 28th, allowing attendees the opportunity to meet the owner, enjoy a juice tasting & more!  “We are excited to introduce our juice bar to the community. It’s important for me to be able to show my family and my hometown the progress that I’ve made throughout life and as an entrepreneur,” says owner Lamonte Yates.

The Blacker The Berry Juice Bar is a member of The Jackson Ward Collective, a hub for Black business owners offered through the JWC Foundation that provides connections to services, programs, technical assistance and financial support to help Black business owners Learn, Grow and Own. “We are honored to have the opportunity to celebrate this momentous occasion with Mr. Yates and his team, and look forward to continuing to support them at every stage of business,” said Melody Joy Short – Co-Founder, The JWC Foundation.
