ChamberRVA Welcomes Monica Callahan to the Team
ChamberRVA is proud to announce Monica Smith-Callahan as the new Director of Workforce Programs. Monica will be responsible for leading the workforce development work that was identified in the FutureRVA fundraising campaign. Monica will work closely with business leaders, K-12 officials, Community College officials, local and state government officials and staff, economic development professionals and educators to access the workforce needs in the region.
Monica most recently served as the Director of Outreach and Development for Smart Beginnings Greater Richmond. Prior to that, she was the Community Engagement Director for Richmond 2015, the organization responsible for the 2015 UCI Road World Cycling Championships.
A native of Richmond, Monica holds a MBA and a Bachelors in Mass Communication. She is married with two children.
