ChamberRVA names The Fahrenheit Group, CarLotz and AvePoint as 2017 IMPACT Award winners
Only second time in IMPACT Award history to have a tie
RICHMOND, VA – ChamberRVA is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 IMPACT Awards.  All were recognized at the 30th Annual IMPACT Awards Celebration Dinner at the Richmond Marriott this evening. For only the second time in the thirty year history of awarding the IMPACT Award has there been a tie, this year between CarLotz and The Fahrenheit Group for the Small Business category.
2017 IMPACT Award Winners – Presented by Altria
The Chamber’s premier award honors local businesses that are making an impact on the local economy, the community and their employees.
Small Business Category: CarLotz and The Fahrenheit Group
CarLotz:  A consignment store for cars with three stores in Virginia that inspects, photographs and lists customer vehicles on major car buying websites.
The Fahrenheit Group: A consulting and professional services firm that helps growth organizations overcome their most challenging hurdles to success.  They focus on three key practice areas including accounting and finance, business advisory and human resources and executive search.
Large Business Category: AvePoint
AvePoint:  With over 15,000 companies and 5 million cloud users, AvePoint helps organizations worldwide transition to the Microsoft Cloud, increasing administrator productivity and satisfying governance and compliance.
Other finalists for this award included, Dixon Hughes Goodman and Elephant Auto Insurance.
“The ChamberRVA Annual IMPACT Celebration Dinner is an exceptional evening for the RVA business community, with hundreds of people attending to congratulate businesses that contribute to the success of our region,” says Kim Scheeler, president & CEO of ChamberRVA.  This year approximately 600 people attended tonight’s dinner.
