It’s game on for the new English Field at Union Park. On Monday, August 29th, the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors approved the new baseball stadium design. The enhancements to the park will bring Virginia Tech in league with other baseball facilities in the Atlantic Coast Conference – perhaps the top league in collegiate baseball. A wide variety of viewing areas will allow fans to choose the amenities that best suit their needs to enjoy a day at the park. Construction on the new stadium is scheduled to begin this fall.
